Chamonix Ski Passes – Online Lift Passes for the Chamonix-Mont-Blanc Valley
Nestled beneath the towering summit of the Mont Blanc, the Chamonix-Mont-Blanc valley is one of the most iconic ski destinations in the world. From the high-altitude terrain of the Grands Montets glacier and the dramatic descent of the Vallée Blanche, to the sunny slopes of Brévent-Flégère and gentle family options at Les Planards or Vallorcine, there is something for every skier and boarder.
At Chamonix Ski Passes, we make it easy to book your lift access online in advance. Our dedicated platform offers immediate QR-code delivery, skip-the-queue collection, and local customer support in resort. Whether you’re planning a weekend getaway or a full week of alpine adventure, we’ve got you covered.
Which Pass Should You Choose?
Chamonix Le Pass
Designed for those who want to stay within the main Chamonix valley ski areas (Brévent-Flégère, Balme/Le Tour-Vallorcine, Les Planards etc.). Ideal if you’re skiing mostly in the valley, exploring at your own pace or have beginners in your group.
Includes access from the valley floor up to approx. 2,500m, and covers the majority of pistes in the valley. A great value option which you can buy here.
Mont Blanc Unlimited
For skiers who want full freedom. This pass covers everything included in the Le Pass, plus the high mountains (Aiguille du Midi), off-piste access like the Vallée Blanche, neighbouring resorts in Italy (Courmayeur) and Switzerland (Crans-Montana), and a host of sightseeing/transport benefits (e.g., the Tramway du Mont Blanc).
If you’re planning several days, want to explore beyond the valley or ski more challenging terrain, this is the pass to choose which you can buy here.
How Our Booking Process Works
-
Choose your pass type above and select the number of consecutive days you will ski.
-
Book online and receive an instant QR-code to your email.
-
On arrival in Chamonix use one of our convenient pick-up boxes in the resort. Simply scan the QR code from your phone and collect your physical pass (smart-card/badge) — no queuing at ticket offices.
-
Children under 5 ski free in many cases (for certain passes) at checkout.
-
Optional insurance is available at checkout to cover you in case of injury or unforeseen circumstances.
-
Once you have your badge, enjoy full access to the lifts for the duration of your pass.
Why Book In Advance?
Booking your pass ahead of time is smart for three key reasons:
-
Savings: Early-bird online fees are often significantly cheaper than buying at the counter in resort.
-
Convenience: You skip the often-long ticket-office queues and have your QR code ready on your mobile before you even arrive.
-
Peace of Mind: Know the cost up-front, and select the correct pass for your group. Especially when you’re arranging accommodation, transfers and the rest of your trip, having the lift-passes sorted early avoids last-minute stress.
Important Things to Know
-
The passes are consecutive days — they begin on the first ski-day and continue without break.
-
Longer passes (10 days or more) may require a photo or additional details like children’s dates of birth.
-
The pass badge (smart card) typically has a small nominal fee (e.g., € 3.00) which is included in our pricing.
-
For trans-border skiing (Italy or Switzerland) there may be extra conditions — it’s always wise to verify validity and restrictions before your trip.
-
Weather, lift openings and snow-conditions can change. We recommend checking live lift-status and local webcams.
-
Insurance is optional but highly recommended if you’re skiing multiple days, skiing off-piste, or travelling from overseas.
FAQs
-
Can I upgrade my pass? Yes — if you purchase a Le Pass and later decide you want the Unlimited, you may pay the difference (depending on days remaining) to upgrade. The upgrade is for ALL the days you have purchased the pass for, not just the day you want to upgrade.
-
Do children ski free? Children under a certain age may ski free or at reduced rate — see pass-type details.
-
What if a lift closes? Lift closures can happen due to weather. The pass remains valid for the lifts that are open but refunds are subject to the lift-operator’s terms.
-
Can I ski in Italy/Switzerland with my pass? Only certain passes (e.g., Mont Blanc Unlimited) include neighbouring resorts and require minimum duration or specific conditions.
